So here comes the half term holidays already – well it’s only two or three weeks away! If you are a typical parent like me, you may be thinking about going away for a few days at the end of the month. The Isle of Wight is a small island connected to the UK mainland by a ferry service from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington near the New Forest. The Isle of Wight is a great place to go for a family as there are masses of things to do. It has beautiful beaches, and for those who love to walk, there are a multitude of routes to explore. If you are intending on staying in a hotel, the island has many different varieties to choose from. I generally search for ‘Isle of Wight hotels Sandown’, as this is a lovely resort to stay in with a sandy beach and a warm climate ideal for any family.
